Meet the Therapist

Rachel Cordova, LMT, IL LIcense #227.013337, has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2011. Rachel specializes in oncology-informed massage therapy and care for individuals navigating cancer and other complex medical experiences.

Her work is grounded in gentleness, safety, and thoughtful adaptation. Drawing from techniques such as Swedish massage, myofascial release, and lymphatic support, each session is carefully tailored to the individual and their needs at the time of the visit.

For the past several years, Rachel has focused her practice on oncology and hospice massage, providing skilled, compassionate touch for clients during active treatment, recovery, and survivorship. Her approach centers on comfort, symptom support, and respectful connection, with close attention to how the body changes over time.

Rachel’s practice welcomes individuals impacted by cancer as well as those living with chronic pain or complex medical histories. Care is provided using inclusive language, clear communication, and consent-based touch, with attention to each client’s comfort and lived experience.

Sessions are intentionally unhurried and designed to meet clients where they are, whether that means quiet relaxation, gentle symptom relief, or simply a steady, supportive presence. This is a small practice by design, allowing for personalized care and continuity.

A limited number of openings are available for new clients. If this approach feels like a good fit, Rachel welcomes you to reach out to begin with a brief phone consultation.
